3. Data Collection in the App

3.1 Locally Stored Data

The app processes the following data, which is stored exclusively on your device:

• Game progress and solved puzzles (best times, errors, ratings)
• Saved game states of ongoing games
• Game statistics and streaks (daily series)
• Daily challenges and their completion status
• Hint balance (free and purchased hints)
• App settings and preferences (e.g., symbol set, sound, haptics, appearance)
• Purchase status (ad-free, hint packages)

This data is not transmitted to any servers and remains entirely on your device. No user accounts are created, and no personal data such as name or email address is collected.

3.2 Game Center

The app optionally uses Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. When using this feature, the following data is transmitted to Apple:

• Leaderboards: Best times in Race Mode (per difficulty level)
• Achievements: Reached milestones (e.g., first solved puzzle, 7-day streak, 100 solved puzzles)

Using Game Center requires signing in with your Apple ID and is entirely optional. Processing is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Storage Location and Security

All your personal data is stored locally on your device in a protected database (Core Data). Other apps do not have access to this data. There is no synchronization via iCloud or other cloud services.

5. In-App Purchases

The app offers in-app purchases via Apple StoreKit:

• Ad-free version (one-time purchase)
• Hint packages (30, 100, or 300 hints, consumables)

Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive any payment data or personal information. The purchase status is stored locally on your device and verified cryptographically through Apple's entitlement system.

6. Advertising and Tracking

6.1 Free Version

The free version of the app displays advertising via Google AdMob in the following formats:

• Banner ads: Displayed in various views of the app
• Interstitial ads: Full-screen ads between puzzle completions
• Rewarded ads: Voluntary video ads to receive hints

The following data may be collected by Google:

• Advertising ID of the device
• IP address
• Device type and operating system
• Approximate location (based on IP)

6.2 Consent and App Tracking Transparency

Before displaying personalized advertising, your consent is obtained in two ways:

• Google UMP SDK: Consent form in accordance with GDPR/ePrivacy (particularly in the EEA). You can change your consent at any time in the app settings via "Manage Consent".
• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): iOS system permission for using the advertising ID. You can revoke this at any time in the iOS settings under Privacy > Tracking.

The app declares the following tracking domains: googleads.g.doubleclick.net and pagead2.googlesyndication.com.

6.3 Ad-Free Version

After purchasing the ad-free version, no advertising is displayed and no data collection by advertising networks takes place.

6.4 No Analytics

The app itself does not use any analytics or tracking tools (no Firebase Analytics, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel, etc.). No usage statistics are collected or transmitted to us.

7. Feedback Feature

The app offers a feedback feature in the settings. When sending feedback, an email is created via your configured mail app. In addition to your text, it contains the following technical information:

• App version and build number
• Device model and iOS version
• Language setting

The email is sent to hello@stapppro.de. You have full control over the content before sending and can remove information or discard the email.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view all your data in the app at any time (statistics, settings)
• Deletion: You can reset your game progress via the app settings
• Withdrawal of advertising consent: At any time via the app settings or iOS settings (Privacy > Tracking)
• Complete deletion: Uninstalling the app deletes all local data

9. Permissions

The app does not request permissions for camera, photos, location, contacts, or notifications. The only system-level permission is the optional App Tracking Transparency prompt for personalized advertising (see section 6.2).
